Duet for Flute and Bassoon (1991)

A seven-movement piece, featuring the high and low woodwinds. Their interactions allow the composer to explore different ideas, relationships, and sounds. The piece starts out with curious and inquisitive gestures. There is a march, a waltz, and a canon; then ends with a finale.
